Central Illinois Wedding Planning ~ Bridal Expo in Jacksonville

For the second year, Jeff and I participated in the Jacksonville Main Street Bridal & Prom Expo held at Hamilton's 110 North East on January 22nd, 2012.  We love having the opportunity to meet with brides, grooms, and their families and introduce them to the possibility of including live harp music in their ceremony or reception.  For most people that came through the expo, this was their first time to actually see a harp in person!

We also look forward to reconnecting with other professional wedding vendors who participate, including Warmowski Photography, Girls in White Satin (who put on both the bridal & prom fashion shows), and Hamilton's Catering

We held a drawing at our booth for free cocktail hour music, and I'll be playing for Jenny's September wedding reception in Jacksonville.  Thanks to the organizers and Jacksonville Main Street for putting on another great show!

If you didn't make it to this expo, we'll also be at the Elegant Bridal Expo at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Springfield, Illinois, on February 26th from noon until 4:00 pm.  You can also find more information about having a harpist for your wedding at our website ~ TheClassicHarpist.com.  Feel free to contact us with any questions about the music for your day!

That seems like a wonderful bridal expo. I recently got married at some domestic NYC wedding venues and it was a DIY ceremony. Had also attended various wedding expo and bridal shows in order to get the ideas. Truly it turned out to be just fantastic eve.
